About Discrum

What is Discrum?

Discrum is a simple web-based tool that helps Agile teams run their Scrum ceremonies more effectively. We provide lightweight tools for Planning Poker (story estimation), Sprint Retrospectives, and Team Mood Check - the essential ceremonies that help teams plan better, improve continuously, and monitor team health.

No accounts, no sign-ups, no complexity. Just create a room, share a link, and start collaborating with your team.

Why I Built Discrum

I built Discrum because I was tired of complex tools getting in the way of simple collaboration. Many Agile tools require teams to sign up, configure workspaces, and navigate through layers of features they don't need.

Discrum focuses on doing three things well: helping teams estimate stories through Planning Poker, facilitating productive Sprint Retrospectives, and tracking team health with Team Mood Check. That's it. No feature bloat, no learning curve.

Our Tools

Planning Poker

Estimate user stories together with your team. Everyone votes simultaneously to avoid bias, then discuss differences to reach consensus. Perfect for sprint planning and backlog refinement sessions.

Sprint Retrospectives

Run effective retrospectives with a simple three-column board: what went well, what to improve, and action items. Team members can add cards, vote on priorities, and collaborate in real-time - no matter where they are.

Team Mood Check

Monitor and track your team's emotional well-being and satisfaction. Team members can quickly share their mood anonymously, helping identify when the team needs support or celebration. Perfect for regular pulse checks and understanding team dynamics.

What Makes Discrum Different

How It Works

Using Discrum couldn't be simpler:

  1. One person creates a room and gets a room code
  2. Share the room code or link with your team
  3. Team members join, pick a display name, and start collaborating
  4. When your session is done, the room data automatically expires

That's it. No setup, no configuration, no hassle.

How Discrum Stays Free

Discrum is supported through advertising revenue. You'll see Google AdSense advertisements on the site, which helps cover the costs of running the service. This allows us to keep Discrum free for everyone.

If you find Discrum useful, the best way to support us is to keep using it and share it with your team.

Being Honest About Limitations

Discrum is a solo-founder project in its early stages. While I work hard to keep it running smoothly, I want to be upfront:

If you run into issues or have ideas for improvement, I'd love to hear from you.
